Thank you…

Well it’s time for some artist to move on, and I greatly appreciated having some of Charles Pachter artwork here at Art11. I have to admit it feels like a little part of me is leaving with them, and I will miss Read More

What else can I do…

So far I learned quite a few things about the art gallery world. My past experiences have come in handy once again. Here I am with two new works from Peter G. Ray, not stretched, lying on the floor of my office, and Read More

It’s been a while…

It’s been a while since I posted on my blog; I’ve been busy with new artists and new ventures that have imparted upon me a better understanding of the art business. I most say that it all seems to be surreal at times and without any logical Read More

Icarus - Joseph Drapell

I’ve been living with all this beautiful artwork around me for a little while now, and I have to admit that it has enriched not only my life but also the lives of everyone around me. I can’t imagine not having this privilege, and by that I mean that I was able to access so much of it in so little time. Owning an art gallery is pretty self indulging, a way of having your cake an eating it to (to some extent). It is a game of patience and determination; you can’t make an impact just by opening the doors. Mind you, Art11 is by appointment only, their goes the theory of “just opening the doors”. The road ahead looks great and promising, the efforts have to be continuous to establish this gallery, but the benefits are self fulfilling. The first time I glanced at Icarus, a painting by Joseph Drapell, I was so moved that to this day, it represents one of my best memory if this beautiful venture. I just hope the wax won’t melt before I reach my destination.

That simply would make myself see just how stupid is usually the present day system. I furthermore like the fact that blog post isn’t going to claim it is really incorrect, just that you might get detected and you should hesitate. Anyways, i just set off rest now, i am going to demonstrate this to my partner tomorrow, since he’s at the job at this point. Keep on writing!
