Filioli – Uranio Saverio was born in July 28, 1987 in Putignano, resides in Castellana Grotte (BA) and is formed as a self-taught painter. Passionate about art, with experiences in music and video, began to paint with great intensity during university studies (audio-visual communication and multimedia) in Ferrara, then back in Castellana Grotte, where he has his workshop, he continues to paint and still resides. His works are mainly abstract and informal characterized by a strong impact and an impetuous, impulsive gesture of painting, which lets the greatness of ‘soul and spirit without being influenced and reduced by the patterns of reason, placing great importance to the use of forms and colors. In union with it, his works present conceptual and symbolic forms that are layered and blended to create meaning and depth. In his works, great importance is also given to the media used, which is often made from recycled and adapted pieces such as old furniture into disuse. He describes his work as an embodiment of the spirit and soul. A reflection, criticism, condemnation, an escape from banality by the vices and to embark on a path of growth and improvement.
